This is my first tattoo… but I put ALOT of thought into it and it was sketched for almost a year before I got it.
Its a quote from a 1960’s song, sung by French singer Edith Piaf.. I love her, she’s amazing and her life story is very inspiring. The quote reads “Je ne regrette rien” and means “I am not sorry for anything” or “I have no regrets”.. I have always lived my life in this fashion, as Eleanor Hibber has said, “Never regret. If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience.”
The feather represents freedom from my past, courage to move forward with a lightness;unencumbered and unburdened.
I took the photo and it was done at Rebellious Addiction in Gilbert, AZ by Tony.

This tattoo is of a blackbird that relates to the song Blackbird by the Beatles. The Beatles is my favorite band but furthermore the song correlates to a lot in my life. I understand it originally means the suffrage of black women back in their time, but I made it my own in struggling for freedom.

This is my Above the Influence tattoo. Nolan was my little brother who was a victim of my dad’s drinking and driving. He died at the age of 7. I got this in remembrance of him. I miss him every day.

It obviously needs to be touched up, its a foot tattoo, and they fade easily.

its from the footprints in the sand story,
“Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”
The Lord replied, “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.””
I got this to always remind me, that when i am at my lowest my Lord will carry me through it. And that everything i have gone through i did it with him by my side.
besides the facts that it obviously needes to be touched up, i love it, and i wont regret getting it. :)
